This is a bright punchy pickup with a nice tight low end. With a warm mid range and a country edge. The bridge pickup comes with aged Alnico 3 magnets and 42 guage Formvar wire. Comes with aged copper plated base plate.  The neck pickup brings its warmth and clarity with Alnico 3 magnets and 43 guage wire.   Vintage style cloth lead wire, wax potted. The middle pickup is RW/RP for humbucking operation in the center position.

The Neck pickup starts with extra long alnico 5 magnets, and 42 gauge magnet wire. This is a  pickup that is just full of tone. Brings everything out of your tube amp and overdrive pedals. Sweet with a good overdrive pedal.

Wax potted, cloth covered lead wires. RP/RW for humbucking operation in the middle position.

The Bridge pickup is our highest output tele pickup. The flat pole Alnico 5 magnets & 42 gauge magnet wire combined with our special winding technique gives you a full low end, plenty of mid range and a nice smoothed out high end that screams. Zinc plated bridge plate. It has slight p90 characteristics full of life. Wax potted and cloth covered lead wire.

LLT60  Luther Lee 60’s Tele Set


This is our take on the classic 60’s tele pickup. Warm vintage sound with that classic tele bite.


The  neck pickup comes with aged Alnico 5 magnets and 43 gauge magnet wire.  A great clear warm pickup with take top end and smooth mid range. Wax potted, cloth covered lead wires. RP/RW for humbucking operation in the middle position.

The Bridge pickup starts with gray bobbin reminiscent  of the mid 60’s to early 70’s. 42 gauge magnet wire is scatter wound by hand in a 60’s winding pattern around staggered Alnico 5 magnets.  Woody and organic vintage tele vibe, with increased midrange and presence. Copper plated bridge plate, wax potted with cloth covered hook wire.
